Plantsale 2004 - Report...

This years annual Plant sale of excess plants was held in the community hall on the 22nd of May. There were over 20,000 plants for sale in packs as well as a small selection of planted tubs and hanging baskets.

The Sale commenced at 11 am and there was a large queue of people waiting to enter the hall from just after 10 am. As the doors were opened the large queue came streaming in and prepared for battle to get the plants that they wanted.

Within half an hour the majority of the plants had been sold with a steady stream of people coming until closing at 1pm.
