Junior FIB Report...

Under the tuition of Bruce Robertson, more than 100 children from our local Primary School made regular visits to Sugar Acre in the 2004/05 session.

There were lessons for the whole range of children from Nursery through to P7 and much of their Environmental Studies topic work was linked to visits, with additional work continuing within school grounds.

School inspectors praised the Nursery garden where the youngest pupils love to play and where they have observed a full annual cycle of plant growth. A complete programme is now in place for the 2005/06 session.
