Plantsale 2007 - Report...

Our annual Plant Sale took place on 26th May this year when we can again look back on a qualified success. As in previous years, our pre-sale orders for the plants we deliver in the local area did particularly well, with the customary queues on the day of the sale showing that this is an occasion when quality plants are expected at very competitive prices and regularly attracts buyers from far and wide.

As our main fund-raiser to help meet our yearly expenses for the many projects we undertake, it is always satisfying to know that we have another successful sale safely behind us, along with many satisfied gardeners prepared to support us in what we do.

The presence of a Beechgrove Garden cameraman, taking snapshots to augment a programme about Falkland to be shown later this year, will no doubt have one or two folk scrutinising the TV for even the briefest glimpse of themselves!
